One thing that I have found out is that if I scale mesh in world editor, then collision stops working, that is when using ground model like mud or ice etc.
Thanks for the information, Good thing is I did not planed to scale it in-game and kept all curve/mesh of the bridges in blender. But, just to know more, did you had a colmesh or was it the visible mesh that was set as collision mesh?
I think it was visible mesh as I was testing just with simple circular shape, so it can be that it could not make it's mind over collision. That might be before there was visible mesh final option actually, haven't tested that recently, but boy did I spend few hours trying to figure out why thing did not work when it should, like always
Well, it's been a long road, but my first mod is finally ready for the community. I feel like celebrating!
What exactly did break? You might have forgotten to save the jbeam, or it might have glitched out and didn't save for some reason.
I have not edited anything today, but the last time I even created a new node and connected it to something, the whole thing just breaks and the car doesn't spawn
How did you create your node? In the text editor panel or in the 3d editor? I've only added nodes via the former.
I just create nodes in the node beam editor and connect them. Then the game breaks. if I can get on my pc im gonna try again, but i know for a fact that If I delete any node the game just dies and the car does not spawn.
You sure the cursor is in the right part of the jbeam to add the beams? If not it just adds them to the top. Also the editor doesn't work that great since the devs have abandoned it, easiest to just do it in notepad++ and use the editor as a preview window (mainly because it reloads way faster than the game)
OH OK, that makes way more sense. Yea I know the node beam editor is not too accurate, but im not exactly great at finding the right coordinate
