    i could have done this in maybe 2 hours if beamng didn't take about 5 minutes to think about applying changes to the jbeam
    all i have is this prototype where the rear suspension is permanently broken

    instead of liking this post can we petition whoever made the abysmal loading times for both the vehicle selector and applying the changes (i mean 5 minutes per any small change, come on) to make them faster, it would make life a lot easier and i wouldn't have to stay up from 3 am to 8 am just to delete some nodes, make a new node "loop" and connect beams etc

    Hmm, ive got lots of general "stuff" on my beamNG install, i'm not sure if i should put it as a mod, maybe reply to this so i can see which one to do:

    Finish or fix the Pessima Diesel+Turbo petrol engines
    Gavril grand marshal engine mod (all engines from D15 mod ported over)
    Resurrect the D15 mod, maybe configless (you honestly don't know how hard it is to have say 8 engines, 4 trim levels, automatic or manual, the configs just go through the roof!)
    Ive also added another config to the burnside mod (423CUI with same transmission, it's interesting!)
    I also did some work on the Ibishu hopper mod, i haven't fixed the diesels, i might delete them maybe, there is a lot of sound work for each one, but the petrols i have got working well, with a finely tuned automatic transmission also.

    5 minutes is an exaggeration or..?
    Also, CTRL+R or..?
    5 minutes for a CTRL+R is absolutely not normal, should not take more than 10 seconds on the longest case I've seen.
    If you have many mods installed that have common parts, they will add to that loading.

    Also where's your mod located? (userfolder or gamefolder should have very small differences anyway, less than a second)

    it really adds up the time, 10 seconds or so to load up the vehicle selector or parts menu, 10 seconds navigating through them, and maybe 10 seconds of it loading and applying changes.

    Control and R is relatively fast, ive never seen it go above 10 either.

    usually saving a jbeam makes the game wait about 5 minutes before i can play again, then i have to ctrl r to view changes

    Well yeah, common is always loaded, it should be used wisely from m

    Could you please open a separate thread under Troubleshooting about this?

    Where are your files located? (userfolder or gamefolder?)
    Could you check please with all the other mods disabled?

    If that happens with all the other mods disabled:
    Please provide a test case so we can try to replicate and see what's going on (via that thread or PM, as you prefer)
    Include also a Support ID, after replicating the issue, so we can see what's going in your logs :) ( https://wiki.beamng.com/Support#A_developer_asked_for_a_Support_ID )

    Scratch made jbeam for scratch made car body, not so good despite it took easily 4 hours to build all those nodes and beams :/

    Little more power, slightly retuned 6 speed trans and all of the sudden it stops constantly seeking for gears! Yay! Now time to add some random useless junk no one will most likely even notice :D

    Also, I managed to reinforce the rear steering a little bit
