Looks good so far, I think a midship I6 Twin Turbo would fit this car pretty well (similar to the BMW N55 engine). Also, any ideas on the wheels?

It's 100% only a placeholder. There is no way Gabester wouldn't give every car its unique sneakers :) The car looks amazing by the way! Can't wait to see the engine :) I still can't belive we'll soon(ish) be getting THREE new cars. Awesome devs in my book!

It'll have a 2 liter flat-4 (it's rear engined). Power will range from 180 hp in the naturally aspirated base model to over 400 in the twin turbo version. Should end up being the fastest car in the game in top trim, since it's lighter than the Bolide, AWD, and much more modern.

Hey Gabe, we have a 2014 Renault Twingo, which is rear engined. We also have a trunk above the engine, want some reference pictures? Could get some tomorrow.

I think it could be pretty usefull.

Those work really damn well, is that some subtle deeper dish I see on the rear? :)

Yup, 2 inches wider in the rear (11 inches vs. 9 inches)

Looks good. I do wonder whether the B pillar is curved enough or not, looks like it might be tight to get the window wound down into the door.

Also the front overhang looks perilously close to the front wheel (which personally i love from a design standpoint), but i expect that wouldn't get into production. And the rear overhang looks a bit to slab sided, and IMO would look better and be more realistic to 'tuck in' a bit.

Quick diagram to help explain what i mean (red dotted lines show what i think would be more realistic):

    (imported from here)

Top view of a 911, which i presume the SBR4 has a similar package to. As you can see, longer (safer) front overhang, and a rear one which 'tucks in' much more.

You can also see how much curvature there is in a modern car that you only really see from the top view, whereas the SBR4 looks quite slab-sided and very straight for a newer car.

I know its curved, but its questionable whether the its enough for the window to fit in the door.

Currently implementing proper window reflections, a task requiring some mesh and texture alterations since reflections should only be visible from the outside. The fact that each window has two material sets - normal and damaged - also complicates things.
