Sweet, I've always been eager to see that in action ;). First time I think I have seen detachable hubcaps in a game..

The back right tire seems deformed - is it popped or am I seeing things?

Also, what's happening in the picture? Did it just drive over some rocks or what?

Yep, flat tires are in :) You can drive around on the rims slinging bits of ripped up tire around and throwing sparks everywhere. And yes, the friction of the metal rim is much lower than rubber tires.

from what I see, the tired clipping trough the rim, and the ground.

but on the other note, does it mean you implemented the new tire model?
from what I understand because the old ( or current) model is made from beams, its not round. And at high speeds its very notable.
and if not yet, are you going to make round nodes? or you going to smoothen the collision for the tire? or completely different approach?

Is it will be possible to make those hubcaps not just flying off but crack in to pieces, or it will be nightmare for programmers to code?

Looks amazing, it will be cool to make some drift in there in "OOppAA Japan Drift-ing Stile".:D

That all looks spectacular! :D The map with all the rocks looks like so much fun to fling cars across, completely wrecking the suspension. The new breakable tires look like massive fun. Would be really cool if they actually pop when you hop a curb too fast, and you just hear a "psshhhh"... Classic "Aw balls!" moment.
Can't help but notice though, it seems like the rear seats of the Covet should be a bit further back, and that it seems to be missing a parcel shelf? The car seems to be around the same size and class as my real life Seat Ibiza and the front seats seem to be around the same position, and if my rear seats would be that far from the boot/trunklid and that close to the front seats, there would literally be zero legroom in the back(like, the seat would be actually against the backrest of the front seat, even though usually these cars have pretty decent legroom in the back, imho).

These updates get better and better! Not sure if I am seeing it correctly, but part of the wheel seems to be invisible.

are those small metal structures to the right collapsible? If they were, that would be just epic.;)

Hutch, you amaze me. That is awesome.

When the switch to Torque3D was announced, I was a little concerned at first because I checked out a few demos on YouTube and they really didn't look so good. But now, I can see that the graphical quality is ultimately in the hands of the artist. Going off that screenshot, I actually prefer it to CryEngine 3 now because it looks more photorealistic as opposed to stylised. Absolutely excellent.

The Covet is a big strong beautiful hatch who don't need no parcel shelf. It's got enough legroom I think. I couldn't move the rear seats any farther back without clipping them into the wheel well (this thing has pretty bulky rear suspension)
