I don't really imagine the SRB4 is like a Porsche right? Did I miss something? I imagined it was mid engined.

Those are mid engined, not rear. Mid engine is quite common for sports cars, rear isn't.

I guess this means we need a base model with 2wd and a N/A Flat 6.... Snap oversteer.

Damnn. I really need to keep up with this site a bit more.

Can't wait to see how the engine is situated in this thing.

I imagine a subaru but backwards. Gearbox with a centre diff cleverly integrated with the output shaft and a "front" (in this case rear) differential in one housing. Output shaft to "rear" (or front) of gearbox, "front" (or rear) half shafts mate directly to gearbox. Engine hangs off the front (rear).

Don't ever be afraid of giving honest feedback, even if it's to your peer. If Jane Goodall advised randomly setting fire to the chimpanzees' territory in order to somehow save them, would you agree? Or would you question her judgement?

That said, just be sure the feedback is honest and professional, not hurtful. And if they ultimately decide not to take your advice, be just as quick to leave them to their devices.

The big killer here is the terrain resolution. You could almost certainly create the hump in the middle of the road, but the cutoff on the edges would require at least .25 meter resolution. Even then, the terrain modification tools are not tailored to linear, continuous routes. Creating a smooth drop at the edge of the road would be immensely laborious without some form of vector terrain modification.

Not meaning to plug here, but did you ever try OR Roadtest? That features full camber and road profile, with the edge dropoff you've mentioned. But that was created with static meshes, a method that will never likely be efficient or quick in BeamNG.

It isn't but I like to think about the SBR as a 'what if scenario' if the Japanese had evolved such a design until present day. A bit like the 911... the first one wasn't that fast as well.

I totally get why the Sprinter looks like the size of a shoebox now. I also now know I will never get in one on American roads.....ever.
