SBR4 will have an automatically adjusting rear wing (or spoiler) as seen in the new Dev Blog video.

 

Why does everyone pitch a fit when someone says a BNGD car looks like something?

 

I don't really care whether people compare BNG cars to real-world ones, so I'm probably not the right authority to be answering this question. Nevertheless,...

Part of it seems to be that new vehicles, and information and screenshots thereof, are highly coveted. There's no way to see why a thread got bumped, so when people dive into active threads in droves only to find there's no actual news, they get angry. The other part is that while conversations can be interesting and enlightening even without any developer news, car comparisons are often dime-a-dozen, lazy, and subjective, if not flat out wrong (see the lada post above).

You make it sound like you were doing the forum a service by posting. Whether by accident or design, the aforementioned post sparked an argument. Yes, the posts praising the devs on their work are redundant and don't really contribute to the conversation either, but between slipping under the radar and agitating people, I'm more inclined to recommend the former.

I'm also not trying to bait you (you made a pretty good post that lead to some fun discussion earlier in that same page), I just genuinely can't see the image you posted as being directly comparable to the SBR4. And based on the resultant posts, I'm not alone in that impression.

 

At least I contributed to the conversation, not falling for your bait.

I don't know why excactly I don't mind them as its just peoples opinions on what they think the car looks like that's all they are that's all they will ever be, opinions.

Can everyone just shut up? I came to this thread because I saw new posts and was expecting cool screenshots. Instead, what I got was a bunch of butthurt. Stop clogging this thread.

Welp, you can try but two pages from now it'll be the same thing, different flavor. I'll start: I can't believe
how small the SBR looks.

The SBR4 is the prettiest car in that picture.

 

I brainstormed this idea at school . How about make an SBR4 sport car wannabe with an inline 4 with less aggressive looking stuff . I know this kinda defeats the purpose . Hirochi shall call it the SBF2 .

 

I love the rims on that SBR4 and that Moonhawk front fascia though.
