    This is one of the roads on the new East Coast map.

    Looks quite sufficiently like somewhere in the New England area, except that both the road and bridge probably need about another 30-40 years of weathering on them. Well, at least where I live.

    Unless they are 30-40 years newer than the bridges where you live

    That looks a lot like Vermont, or maybe New Hampshire. Either way, it's beautiful. Keep up the good work Hutch!

    Maybe the Boldie GTR should also have some obnoxious GT Wing? It would give an excuse to further increase the grip of the back wheels.

    Maybe also a snappy two-tone paint? Like this;

    When I hear "390 GTR" I picture a modified road car turned into a performance track car. Of course, I might be wrong on what "390 GTR" implies about the Boldie, but I'm just suggesting some things.

    New map looks great btw

    It already is two-tone... the lower bit is black. Still contemplating adding a wing... there's room in the UVs but I don't think it's necessary and I don't think I could make it aesthetically pleasing or properly functional.

    Does the game so far have functional aerodynamics in it?

    In some ways, yes. It doesn't have a full fledged airflow simulation or anything, but the area and shape of the car affects lift, drag, and downforce dynamically. Estama will know more about the aerodynamics system as he coded it.

    If you wanted to try for an aesthetically pleasing spoiler for the car shape, I would recommend drawing inspiration from something like the BMW M1 Procar.

    A lip spoiler, like the one on this De Tomaso Pantera, might also fit well.

    The trickiest part is more than likely just working with the unique shape of the back. Most of these sporty cars that get race tuned have the rear outside edges more prominent, or are fairly level across the entire rear. The Bolide is most prominent in the rear center of the car, while still having fairly squared edges around the outside. If there's any car that would have already created the right style of competition spoiler for the Bolide, it's likely going to be something with a similar rear profile.

    Of course, you could just use giant struts sticking off the rear of the car to hoist a giant surfboard in the air and get a different type of professional competition style with less work, but that's typically used when you want to convert a car to an aero monster for a touring car championship to my knowledge, not when you want a moderate factory competition car like the M1 Procar or the F355 Challenge.

    My god that map looks amazing so far. Reminds me more of the West coast than the East, but that's besides the point. Great job LJ.

    Thank you! Finally someone with sense. Instead of spamming threads with questions that have been answered many times, you actually read up on the game and figured out what's going on on your own. You, sir, deserve an award.
