The coolest car at my high school is only a M series BMW (driven by a student). Nothing special really. I have seen a kid being picked up in a ferrari though.

I'm at uni now (well, not this very minute :p) and a few of the staff have some nice cars. Genuinely shocked on the last day of term before christmas though, student car park I think the nicest cars are generally golfs or equivelant, nothing stellar. Aston martin V12 vantage was parked next to a VW Polo with a toyota yaris behind it, not what I expected as I walked from my car into the building.

I've seen various beemers and mercs over in the staff carpark. Alongside these cars though is a proper bodykitted japanese import of some sort (forgotten make and model and they dont really appeal to me so I probably never thought to check in the first place)

My janitor drives an SLR McLaren :O
I see him all about town, and I have a pic of it when we were at Panera.

I honestly don't see a point in owning an expensive car as a high school/university student. I'm plenty happy with my 2001 Chevy Silverado.

Ironicly, it actually is haha, not that I chose to go lol

but that aside, I agree about top cars being driven by people who seem to believe they own the road. We have a fairly standard BMW and been crashed into twice in the car park, once by a range-rover and once by a Mercedes AMG. They just storm out the car park showing of and crash. Happens all the time.

On another note, a very spoiled Russian kid at the school has a 360 Modenna as his car. I believe his Father self insures it as it would be impossible if not. I don't know him though as he the year above. I like my MG Midget though :) got lots of character and very cheap to run and buy.
At my old school (just the village school) our cleaner had the nicest car lol it was just a really nice merc but it was always pretty cool to see him pulling out in it haha

<fists the air for being such an awesome guesser> Or more likely the first 2 private schools to pop to mind are kimbolton and eton, your profile says Leiscestershire which is no where near kimbolton so plan B :p

As for car crashes in those car parks. My mum borrowed my 2004 vauxhall corsa to do the school run (her car was off for repairs), 5 year old sister goes to kimbolton prep (stepdads father pays for that, we can't afford that remotely, its just for us now its financially no different from public schooling so off she goes), mum hit the back of a lexus... It wasnt a case of backing out of a space and not seeing them or anything either. It was a case of queuing for the exit and deciding "hey his brake lights are on, should I stop? Nah, lets carry on going", my car came away with a scuffed bumper, I've seen the pics of the other guys car and shall we say my mother is paying for the difference in my insurance premium when its up for renewal seeming as she ruined my 4 years no claims replacing the other dudes bumper. I did the school run myself for the following 2 days, I do not trust that woman in my cars, every time she borrows one they don't come back in the same condition I left them in, she didnt even get off the drive before dinging the skoda.... She is a named driver on the insurance policy but stepdads removing her on the next renewal :p

ye haha, it was a pretty good guess!
I think the main problem for us is the massive clusterfu*ck of cars in the car park at one time to pick all the borders up at the end of the Half. That tends to lead to at least a couple of crashes.

Best car at our school is probably a Range Rover Vogue someone's parents own, as for staff, it's was probably one of my teacher's BMW E46. Which got written off today; he was rear ended and in turn two cars ahead of him were caught in the crash too. He said his ribs were hurting also, but he still came to school...

You've got a Midget? Cool, my dads got a '62 Sprite that we're nearly done restoring (still have a few interior panels left), and once we're done hopefully we can restore a Mini for my brother and I to use after high school.
I posted a few pictures of it in DrowsySam's car mod ideas thread.

Best cars at my school are a '62 Jaguar E-Type Roadster :)eek:) and a Ford F-250 with an insane lift kit and gigantic turbo. The noise from that is just insane...
EDIT: I'm a derp, posted the pic in the wrong thread

Nice! My grandad left everyone under 18 in our family some money and told us to get something that would last so I got a midget then partially restored it. Great car, and a lot of fun as we have some old roads around our farm so I can just drive all day (getting licenced in march). The MG owners club is great aswell, so much help when restoring + loads of discounts.

The Ibishu Pigeon on East Coast USA. We have just been doing some map optimizations to get a bit more performance and better visuals as well as tweaking textures and materials for a more realistic appearance.

Maps tax the GPU and physics tax the CPU. The performance boost with the race update for the physics will not help you run taxing maps.

Looking really nice, I really like the lighting!

That looks downright beautiful, reminds me of a stretch of road I used to drive on every day, an ISP trooper used to sit on the top of a small hill just like that, I almost ran him over one morning.

The only thing I have to nitpick is the shadows, they seem a bit too bright to me, although to be honest - most of the game seems to be almost glowing, so that might just be my settings. Well done guys, I hope you know how much we appreciate your hard work.

I can see the interior :D Yes! I would like to see a better picture of the interior, if possible. How is the texturing progress going, Gabe? :)

Interior is done. More importantly, functional stabilizers :)
