Won’t be surprised if it’s retaliation for Google+ being shut down (it’s a good site, btw) and DDoS’ed the site. Remember that bot-net that took down half the internet a year or so ago got much worse and nothing has been patched yet to stop it.
The only thing I get from it is that it most likely has to do with T-Series. The only theory I currently have is that it has something to do with the whole feud between PewDiePie and T-Series. Probably a rabid fan of his who knows how to hack, decided to take it too far and hack YouTube down in an attempt to prevent T-Series from dethroning Felix as the channel with the highest amount of subscribers. I did hear that October was the estimated month that T-Series would overtake PewDiePie as the highest subscribed channel. I mean, it's not too outlandish. Remember what North Korea did to Sony before The Interview came out? It's unrelated, but I think it shows how hackers with a motive can take on a large company and put them in a vulnerable position.
Issue with that stated in my message PewDiePie, T-Series, and others are somehow still managing to gain subscribers.
my absolute bad, sorry lol. website seems to be loading and all that now, at least where i am, but media still won't play
Well for me it looks like it's trying to come back in. Fingers crossed I didn't just jinx myself. EDIT #2: Can it make up its mind already?
YouTube’s still broken. I can see videos, but not play them. I don’t mind not having YouTube, but you show me Bill Wurtz, then take him away from me, now we got problems. I’m trying to think of a way to say this without sounding super paranoid conspiracy-theory-ist, but I wouldn’t be surprised if some unnamed country may be testing the US’s boundaries. Or maybe it’s worldwide, who knows, I don’t.
