Oh, for this.

DJ helps when he can (hes in school), but otherwise nobody. And it's been like that for a long time. As in, many many updates have been made by mainly me and DJ.

The original DPMP "Development Group" had almost 20 people in it, but nobody seemed to want to do anything. There were one or two guys who made a new config every once in a while, but this pack at one point did not need more configs; it needed to be fixed. But nobody wanted to fix it. So things got more and more broken to the point that it is today.

Thats the main reason why the wagon and wheels were removed. I was so busy working soley on this that I forgot to add credits for them/those. It's also why so many cars still have improper drivetrains/brakes. There are too many configs and only 2 people to work on them.

Naw, even if you can rarely help, you still help. Like with the Barstow stuff you did for this mod.

Don't sell yourself too short.

 

I just hope this mod doesn't die forever...

 

Like I said, either this mod will be updated, or our new project will replace it. One of those two things will happen.

 

Okay. Would a new pack be basically the same kind of formula with similar configs, plus a bunch of other stuff?

 

Exactly that. Basically cleaning out the bad configs from this pack, readding in the good ones, remaking all of the shoddy modelling and jbeam work from scratch to be more better, and (hopefully) having more variations (like convertibles, rebrands, etc). It'll more or less be just like this pack, but with "quality over quantity" being our new standard.

 

You my friend... are an underrated modder.

 

If you can provide fixed parts, I can work on configs, and correct some of the grammar in the functional ones. If you can also give me a list of ideal configs, I can work with those too!

Well, not broken in that way. Most of the configs just have a wrong part here and there, and just need to be changed via the parts editor. There are just a lot of configs that that needs to happen to. But I don't think many people care about a 4WD config being FWD when some parts are actually broken broken.

Now, if you do want to go through and fix whats broken, you can PM me, and I can explain what needs to be done, and you can go ham on it. Then I'll update the pack with the new version.

 

First of all I want to say that this is one of the first mods I found whilst playing this game. AND I LOVED IT!! I still do actually and that's why I am here. I was wondering if there is any chance you will remake or update this mod some time. I loved this mod and all the added variety. It made this game a whole lot more enjoyable and I really want it to come back and not be outdated.

 

We are attempting to correct the bugs that exist in the mod at this time

I just realized, when I was at Emirate Island using the sbr4 (Dubai Police) config, there was no lightbar
