Outdated Dodge Magnum (v1.3released)

Happened to me as well. Been happening with more than just the Magnum. CTRL+R to hard reset the vehicle helps me. I don't think it's a problem with this mod specifically.

 

I'm tired and I want to shelve this mod and do something else. Would anyone like to take it over for a while?

 

Yeah, does anyone know a good engine sounds person who can sort out the sound issues?

 

Would totally recommend Instant Winrar.

fixed the 6.2 having no sound, it was simple: the mod didn't have an 'art/sounds/' folder so the game had no sounds to use
i just copied the hellcat sounds from another mod, and it works.

Are we allowed to just take sounds from other mods and reuse them without permission to do so? If so, that's wonderful!

 

well the jbeam file in the mod also could've been used without permission which is why it had no sound ??

 

Nah I'm just asking a clarifying question because I'm not sure. There's a lot of mods with great sound that I'd love to use.

 

Ok makes sense, personally what i do is that if i find a mod, i try to find the author, but if i can't find it, i just use it until the author tells me to stop (but mostly they never do cause they don't care or don't know)

No core mods. Works just fine for me. Perhaps you have a conflicting mod or you installed it improperly? Because mine works just fine and I have the most recent official version from Blockeer

You downloaded it from a third party site, didn't you?

 

Probably. This mod doesn't really have anything to do with the 2020 Charger mod you have but I'm sure it could screw your game up pretty bad especially since it sounds like you're using some kind of 3rd party mod as I have not seen any Dodge Charger 2020 mods in the forums really ever. I'd say try uninstalling the probably dozens of meshslaps you have from websites ending in .ru and maybe try again? I don't know. It's pretty well agreed upon that installing crappy third party mods only ruins the game anyway, and clearly somehow it messed with a legit mod, so don't install anymore of those 3rd party mods maybe? Just a suggestion. I know a lot of those mods can cause issues, especially since a lot of them are just copy pastes of vanilla vehicles with different meshes placed over them, which can cause a whole host of problems. Please for the love of all that is holy and your computer's security don't download mods from 3rd party sources. BUT if you know what you're doing and you're not too worried about missing out on a few mods here and there then don't worry about it. But I can promise you this mod is a good one and you won't be disappointed. It's a lot better than any 3rd party mod I've ever used.

Also, if you need help uninstalling those mods you can DM me. I know some of them aren't really as simple as dragging a zip file out of your mods folder. In my experience some of them edit game files and it's weird and it creates a ton of issues but just DM me if you need help with that I'd be happy to help.
