hello everybody, i have been thinking and what about a tool to open or move parts? there is the AI tool and the parts selection ect. so what if you could open a tool with (for example) ctrl+O. then you select the specific part ( door, hood, trunk ect.)by clicking it on the actual car, and then it opens. think about the same system for closing the door. this way, you would get rid of the annoying hotkeys which you will run out of after a while. i am sure this is possible and programmable. let me know what you think guys. bye, everybody
Well, RoR haf a similar thing. Such as Gabesters cars. You'd press say, F1 and a door would open, so maybe they could do something like that at some point in the not so near future (I say that because it's not really that important, is it?) Written by my wizards hand and sent to you by an owl
I think gabe said something quite a while ago about not personally doing that for beamng, but users can probably do it eventually
Ahh. Did he say why? My nosey side is kicking in now. I'm intrigued Written by my wizards hand and sent to you by an owl
SOmething along the lines of "doors are not hydraulically actuated". its been many many months, so im surprised i remembered that much
I like the idea but I do not believe it is possible yet. Sent through Tapatalk from a Message in a bottle.
thanks for the feedback guys, but i dont really think you get the idea. because you guys are stillt talking about hotkey's like F1 or F2, but i mean a real UI, just like the parts selection tool ot the AI tool. that way you would only use 1 hotkey to open the tool. and not all those F keys witch you run out of after you assigned a few of them.
