On this map are only some problems... 1st the map is too bumpy. 2nd the 3 jumps are too destructive 3rd the last 2 corners are impossible to drive with the covet and other cars. I would like making the same map only with asphalt track and less bumpy and delete the jumps. Dont understand it wrong it´s a great map But after a while crashing covets after 2 minutes racing sucks. I mean, You drive 2 minutes long a perfect time and then the last corner shredders you transmission.
Hehe I can understand that. The reason the bumps wreck your car so much is because I'd designed them to be driven both ways, so you had to get enough air to clear the opposite side of the jump. Some parts definitely need smoothing, the last corner especially. A smooth asphalt track without the jumps would actually be pretty awesome, I'll look into making that!
If i said I would like doing something with the map. I would make it smoother and with asphalt. I also want to make the Race Checkpoints from the mod so the Time is even better
I really like this map, one thing is I dislike are the jumps, I usually just break the car Although it adds a bit of a challenge, so it's not that bad. (I don't have times because I just slow motion the hell out of the jumps )
It´s now done I re-made the map now without the jumps ,It hasAsphalt road, it´s less bumpy (almost) And I´ve added the RaceTimer mod (not working and dont know whyy) Now the question: Would you upload this as a second map if u like it or you say: No, please no copy of my map. It´s ok if you say no, I have no problem with that ~MBexpert
hm it depends. If I could play it first and I like it, I would add it to this thread and give you conversion credit.
2:18.29, 2006 Mitsubishi Lancer Evo IX (no thrusters, I swear ), keyboard But yeah, both the 2nd and 3rd jumps are fun and you can just manage them most of the times, but I think they are a bit extreme, especially the last one. The track is really cool though! Nice job
The map is just the same as my regular one 0_o are you sure the changed one wasn't saved into your cache? You really set that with the evo in mythbuster's racing pack? that thing seems to be far slower than the polo..
Yep, it's basically the only car I can run at a steady 40-45 FPS Still haven't tried with the Polo though, I have to reinstall it. And I understand the doubts: first post, no pics. But it was the best of far too many aborted runs
I'll add it, but an updated version of the map is uploading now ^_^ has fixed jumps and a bit smoother track
Unfortunately not :'( Although I have started working on it, it seems impossible to get the road smooth enough to be happy with. We really need working mesh roads... wait.... we do.. When did this happen?? Well I guess I've solved the smooth road problem.
That could be on your end, especially if you've edited the level. It seems to like to save everything into the cache, and then favor the cached copy over the game folder copy. Make sure you've cleared the level out of: Documents>BeamNG.Drive>Levels Documents>BeamNG.Drive>Cache>Levels Documents>BeamNG.Drive>Cache>Content>Levels or any other dumb places that it could be reading it from
