#NotACar However it is the Scatman, and (imo) it didn't turn out too badly (left ear is a bit wonky, but its 1:30am and I want to sleep)
Have been working on this in art class for around a month tried to copy Initial D's art style Spoiler: throughout the days 9th of Nov. 10th of Nov. 16th of Nov. 4th of Dec.
Can you draw a 2015 Renault Twingo? Pielzed.. you draw amazing. I sketch cars as well but they look weird from the angle and way that I draw them..
Finally have a final design for my main character's car: Well, mostly anyway. I haven't decided if it will be a two-door and I haven't picked a colour yet, but it will for sure be this make and model. I think I'll post back here later with a dealership catalogue-esque list of colours. Spoiler: (context)
It looks like a very small car. Wouldn't cars that old be somewhat bigger? I like the diverse selection of bodystyles.
It's about the same size as a Fiat Topolino. Both of my main characters are under 5ft so I need it to be tiny.
No problem, I can see why you'd think it was a mistake. Here they are to scale: Makes a lot more sense in that context.
I'm happy with this so I'm going to share it. I don't care anymore. This is Finn, the car's owner and one of the two main characters in the story. The car is already old and a bit beat up by the events of the story, but he loves it and takes good care of it, even if most people thinks it's just an old piece of junk. I'm on a roll lately with the sketches; if only I could actually finish a full illustration.
I'm not that good yet, but I think this is good enough to share. It's based off of my favorite background (though I'm not sharing it ). Before shadows (sometime in October): After shadows (a few days ago): I like to draw with my Wacom tablet, so it's already digital but takes more time to get used to.
