They are already in game halfway, but I'm not happy with the results yet, because of this stopped importing them in the game and the ones that are in game are disabled in scenetree, if you open the world editor (f11) and enable the "night" objects you'll see them in their places. Istanbul and Miami have these night meshes. Until I find a good way it will stay like this or I'll remove them.
It's a long stretch but I want to add these to all maps. We'll see.

Would you be able to put this onto Google Drive or archive.org? I'm not sure if I have enough quota to download it.

Have to try it asap! As a big fan of Driver Parallel Lines (my first real videogame) I played Driv3r only a couple of times but loved the setting. Nice and Istanbul look so different, it's really nice to have them here.
Great job! seeing this kind of work motivates me to learn a bunch of things to do it by myself

that's not a bug, that's a feature: It encourages EV use.

I suggest optimising the Istanbul map (and possibly others), as the texture resolution is too high even in lower graphical settings.

The problem isn't the textures (most are 128x128 or 256x256) but the amount of mesh visible on your screen. There are a lot of duplicate meshes in these sectors, there is no solution for this yet.

These look like they'll be a ton of fun for cops and robbers with friends! My only question is do you ever plan on changing (or rather, turning off) collisions with certain objects (Ie Cones, boxes, trash bags, etc). It does make driving in some back alleys impossible unfortunately.

Unless people really enjoy driving on the beach and then into the ocean for some reason, I'd opt for a mesh with a water texture. The underground areas are more important to me. What did the water texture look like in the original game?

There's a weee bit of fog/mist/atmospheric perspective in the old game. Any chance to add this?

What about adding the original sky boxes from the old game?

    miami 5.7km x 5.3km
    nice 7km x 3km
    istanbul 5km x 4.4km

If you set the fog density around 1 and cloud density to middle point you could make the map look like this.

Man I absolutely love this project! I played Driv3r A LOT when I was a child, this definitely brings back a lot of pleasant memories. It's such a shame that most underground parkings or places like the Miami karting track entrance are completely submerged in water... That's an awful game limitation, I wish it could be easily bypassed. It's funny how traffic still spawns there and drives around the track lol.
