Basically, drop mode would be a system where when holding down a certain key in free camera, a 3D silhouette of the player's vehicle/object would be shown, which can be rotated and moved. When the drop mode key is released, the vehicle/object will appear at the location of the silhouette at the exact rotation. The game "Brick Rigs" does something similar, and it'd be useful to have here.
There's something less refined, which simply teleports the active vehicle at the camera position. You do that by pressing F7 while you are in free camera mode.
Issue is, that system doesn't show you (exactly) where the vehicle/prop will land, and some props (for example, Cinderblock Wall) cannot be rotated with drag mode.
