?

Would you want to see a Dynamic Weather System for BeamNG in the near future?

Can confirm it does, you can do it in the world editor > material editor then change spec values

I didn't spend much more than 5 mins on this but you get the idea

Puddles, that could works so that code looks for low spots of terrain, then sets water body to location and increases height with time, or something like that.

that, as well as snow would require support for dynamic depth map editing

I guess so, even water body does not need to edit terrain itself, it does cause car to sink trough terrain currently, but one would think if that is only hurdle, then it might be likely that there would be some way around it, like temporary duplicate of few splits of terrain under the car or something?

Bump, because this topic is still relevant. I don't see how this wouldn't be possible, and it would be putting a much needed feature in game.

This is a good idea that I would like to see ingame. Should be possible.
Anyways for the water wasn't there a few scenarios a while back that changed the height of the water on the fly a while back? Not sure if thats the same thing tho. If it is then there could just be different water spots right below the terrain of the map and when the player selects one of the rain options then the water would rise up to cover whatever bit of hole/ditch/thingy. Probably makes no sense at all so I'll shut up now.
