Suspension relies mostly on the body to stay on place
I have cleared cache I don't know why this seems to be the only car with some texture issues on my end my guess is some conflicting mod edit: I've deactivated all mods except for buggy mod and yeah it seems to be a mod conflict issue of some sort cause the textures returned to normal
One of the mods that may be the culprit regarding broken materials is the Nissan Terrano mod by JNR231. Like the Beach Buggy (given the screenshot gigisfan provided), it also has a wheels.materials.json file located in the common folder. There may be a few more mods that could overwrite that file, but I figured the Terrano mod is something many people have downloaded and enabled. Based on this information, I can say that the game loads mods based on the compressed files' names in ascending order (i.e. from A to Z). In other words, if one has both the Beach Buggy and Terrano mods enabled, the game will first load in the Beach Buggy's wheels.materials.json file. But when the Terrano's wheels.materials.json file is read next, the latter overwrites the former's materials because it has the same file name in the common folder, resulting in broken materials for the Beach Buggy. With that said, fixing the material conflicts is straightforward. Renaming the Beach Buggy's wheels.materials.json file to something else is by far the easiest solution. Reorganizing its universal wheels by moving their assets into another folder within the common folder may also help. Those are my two cents on this issue.
I have the Terrano mod, I will try deactivating it EDIT: it works. Deactivating Terrano mod makes everithing work! I want also to add some feedback: It should have drum brakes, and It should have low power engines, otherwise great mod
So, it's been a while since I've talked here... I've been working on the rework on reworking the 2+2 Buggy, most stuff has been remodeled completely, except the body. It will include more customization and mechanical detail in comparison with the actual 2+2 available for early access. I am currently in the process of unwrapping the 'main' parts, then move onto the mechanicals and the interior stuff.
Have you considered making an electric variant? I'm not really into electric cars, but I feel like this would work as an EV. just an idea
