its all good, im still open to suggestions if you have a specific engine you want me to take the sounds from
Can you use the Honda Vtech engine file for the i4s? You can get rid of the vtech for the non vtech engines
no way that wouldnt be realistic at all, there are no vtec engines in the game. also what vtec sound? i dont remember adding any vtec samples to the mod --- Post updated --- New update out on the 1st page, changelog is also on the 1st page.
I loved the update, now it fixes the volume of the engines by being separated by the type of exhaust. And I love the new sound of V10, which base sound did you use?
Thats cool Man, Good to know the videos helped --- Post updated --- I have a question/suggestion, when the mod is complete in terms of new sounds for all engines and all vehicles in the game would it be possible to make the mod a replacement for the original sounds? So Mods that add new engines/variations would use the new sounds of your mod, also avoiding conflicts with possible mods
no unfortunately, if you give any sample the same name as the ones already in the game, then it bugs out a lot. plus you will only ever have the same amount of variation between cars and parts as the vanilla game. and that includes the exhaust sounds being different component to component. its a shame, heck i tried it before and thats how i know it can really mess up the game lol oh and another thing, the EQ levels of any sound you apply are built into the engine jbeam of every car. so if i wanted the sounds to sound good (as they do now) then i would have to copy the engine jbeam of every car you could possible use, including modded ones. which isnt allowed since im basically giving away modded content and potentially bloating peoples' games. thats also the main reason these sounds cant support mods unless you did it yourself. which is not hard, its just more work than most people want.

So Mods that add new engines/variations would use the new sounds of your mod, also avoiding conflicts with possible mods yeah i understand. i asked because i have a lot of mods and switch a car with good sound from your mod for another car with vanilla sound is boring now haha. i play alot missions like garage delivery so it always choose a random car with or without the new sounds
I noticed a small "pru" sound (like the sound that pigeons make) lol, in the deceleration of the sound of the V10 around 4k rpm to 2k rpm, it's barely noticeable, I think enabling stereo mode in the game's sound settings helps
it doesnt replace anything its just using the same folder structure thats all, it will installe around everything else. but the only reason you should be doing the extraction method in the first place is in order to get it working in beammp
Yeah the sound loops kinda poorly and you can hear some excess noise as well. It still sounds great though.
