that all sounds subjective to me, nobody has complained about the low rpms before. but the v6 sounds are place holders taken from engine sim. im gonna put more effort into them later but you have no idea how hard it is to find usable recordings for stock v6 engines
i actually do know how hard it is , ive been lately trying to make custom engine sounds i tried ripping from many games, recording real ones , even ripping from assetto corsa sound mods but none of them sounded good --- Post updated --- maybe can i have ur discord? if u dont mind
So the mod is really good and I really like the sound for the Covet and MIramar, but the I6 sound is too loud if you put a racing exhaust on the car (I mean with that all ETKs) and it will be nicer if it sounds more like a BMW
the sounds come from a BMW so idk whats wrong lol, the volume will be different in later versions since im still getting feedback on whats a good balance though
Ever thought of using Engine Sim? I think the Community Edition has a way to record sounds and stuff.
yeah most of the exhaust sounds and the v6 sounds come from engine sim. although people looove to complain about how they sound when in beamng, funnily enough they think they sound fine in engine sim itself.
I'm just wondering if you have some sort of roadmap that you use to keep track of what engines have been completed, and what ones haven't been started/finished?
In my opinion the sound of the V6, i6 and V10 really needs a rework. I know that finding a good V6 sound video is really difficult, but for the i6 and V10 I have already provided good sources for you to work. And with the game's latest update there are new opportunities to make the mod even better, even though it's difficult to work on making good sounds, but the end result is always rewarding
i did use the v10 sound from the gallardo that you gave me, but ill definitely look at the i6 engines since thats also very highly requested. after all i dont really enjoy driving high power cars so thats why most of the good sounding ones are the i4s and smaller engines since they are the ones i drive most. --- Post updated --- i wouldnt call it a roadmap but in general im kind of working on the common engines first, and then moving onto the rarer ones like v8s and bigger engines. even if i add a certain engine though, it doesnt mean it will remain using the same sounds for the entire life of the mod. even some of the i4s may be changed at a later date, and a lot of sounds at the moment are place holders so i can get feedback on them.
yeah that gallardo video was a good source, but i sent other V10 godlike sources to you like the loved LFA and M5 E60
fair enough, ill take a look. although i have been toying with the idea of using an audi r8 v10 since i found some real nice dyno videos for that
the sounds of i4 and i6 seriously need improvement. if you drive at the same rpm you hear clumsy sounds
