doing it for mods is kinda hard since if you dont have the mod installed, then it will just show a blank thumbnail. and for people who dont have a mod that is supported by it will just have to deal with the extra bloat that comes with it. i would consider it if i could find a workaround, but for now im just working on adding every vanilla car to the satisfaction of everyone on this thread
Maybe make a separate mod/mods for other modded vehicles? Or, put them in groups, for example the Picnic and Scout could both have remastered sounds in one mod.
I do agree that it's kinda hard too, since also permission has to be granted from the authors of the mod. how many vehicles are left?
Yoo, you could also get in touch with Galaxia (Creator of the BeamXForza Sounds Mod) to exchange experiences on this side of creating sound modifications for the game, his Mods are excellent quality too
Gonna be completely honest, I liked the old V6 better. New one is way too noisy for a stock 80's-90's box.
the volume will be tweaked later, and there will be variations for stock intakes and exhausts to make them less noisy
Thanks for the kind words mate I just found out about this mod and will be trying it soon. The quality of the synthesized sounds seems promising! I would be down to chat about this topic with Born 2 Drive if they're down to do so.
While true, it's just too loud for the stock exhaust. Maybe if he modifies the EQ and turns up the muffling for stock exhausts, then it'd be great!
Ive explained this before but i will explain it again. I cannot change the muffling, the sound you get is the sound you get. I can change the sample itself for stock exuasts/intakes but not the muffling. Muffling is only available on dev made sounds since the way they switch between the "muffled" and "unmuffled" sound samples is not open source. Maybe it will be in the future but for now it isnt. So the only way would be to create a whole new set of samples, which is a lot of work if it wasn't already obvious.
I checked the Honda V-Tech engine file from engine sim and it appears that the V-tech is actually disabled, so it would probably be fine to use on the I4 cars in beamng
This mod is great! I especially love cruising in the MR Turbo Evolution, gives a whole fresh life to the little rear-engined car BRRRRAAAAAEEE *tss* RRREAAAAAAAAEEEEE *tss* RRRERRRR-
