some people are saying my light fix doesnt work, this (should) fix it i hope? (you guys have to manually add the dot into main.materials btw i have no clue why forums deletes the dot from filename)
Some things that could be improved, coming from a person that knows literally nothing about modding... (Yes, I know it's still a WIP): Changes/Issues: All of the Inline-6 models have Full Racing Brake Pads (except for the ttSport, which has carbon-ceramics), for some reason. They should be Sport Brake pads, like other ETK models, which all non-ttSport models have Sport pads. Lighting should be updated because it looks quite outdated. (?) Body trim shouldn't be attached to the fender/bumpers. You could be able to rip it off, like the Tograc's fender flares. (?) Modeling for the fender flares is a bit choppy Some textures seep onto the car body itself (eg. the fender flares seeping onto body panels). Rear bumper seems misaligned, or it could be the textures mentioned above Interior trim has some warped textures, especially on the dashboard and the area around the start/stop button. Rennspecht model is a bit too loud and unrestricted considering that it's supposed to be a more premium, quiet model. 8-Cylinder badging is missing, should be something like 1358x ttSport+, or something like that. Air suspension should be much softer and should be able to absorb bumps more than the non-air suspension, but that could be a WIP as it's not used in any configs. Other: Car description is sort of confusing/missing words compared to other cars/mods. 1356x 340 (A) should be removed, as the 1356x 360 (A) already exists, and there's almost no difference between the two, except for a 20 horsepower difference. Overall, the mod is looking in good shape, except for the issues I listed above. Hopefully, they do get fixed in the near future and I am looking forward to see what will happen with the mod!
I am not very good at this, can you explain more further on how to do this or anyone attach a video on how to? I know this question may seem dumb but I am genuinely confused.
This is probably wrong, but go into the file folder then click on the "vehicles" folder. Then, click on the "etk1300" folder and drop those files inside. After that it should ask you to replace or copy a file, as one of the files are named the same, so click on "Replace," and you want to do that to both files. Finally, clear your cache and you should be good to go. The only issue is that the lighting is still kinda funny... Let me know if it works or not!
Thanks to @Baconzez and @Bentonchiez for helping update the lights. The post i'm replying to has the newest version so redownload it for the new lights.
I think the one who did the fixed version isn't the original creator, so he needs to asks the permission. But that would be cool. I hope they will do a rework of this vehicle.
I fixed the issue But I also did find something a bit weird: There seems to be some texture issues on the driver side dashboard behind the steering wheel --- Post updated --- I have also found that the readings of the speedometer are quite off: 240 KMP/h is actually 150 Mph --- Post updated --- The interior texture quality could definitely be improved (especially parts near the front of the interior). Thank you
