ETK 2400i

I wish the ETK 2400i would have a factory digital heads-up display, because hey, it's the 1980s. Anything can happen, even the LeGran.

Now, I wish the 2400i would be as durable as this Ford F-150 after being hit by an earthquake.

 

It wasn't an earthquake, it was a fire and the building collapsed, anyway, meaning of durability -> F150 = D15 wink wink

 

I don't think any german car got one of those, that was more of an american and french thing.

 

Are you kidding me? The 1989 Nissan Silvia S13 had a heads-up display as a FACTORY OPTION.

Though circular headlights would be representative of BMW, this etk's front looks fairly Audi-ish.
(although its an ETK!, not an Audi, BMW or any real car; its a representation of 80's German sport sedans.)

With some crappy photoshop skills I edited the front a slight bit, notice the resemblance?

(oh god, self congratulation time) Personally I like my edit better, even though the etk is true to Gabe's original design; I feel the turn signals needed to be more square and the inner bits of the lights more slanted, keeps it looking more German to me for some reason.

 

i thought this was a bmw nockoff? why are there rings on the front grille like an audi?!?!?!

Even if this was sarcastic, this is probably one of the dumbest things I've read on this forum. Also, ETK is meant to represent a variety of German manufactures and not just BMW. I don't know why this needs to be constantly repeated when the front has just such obvious Audi influences.

 

I think the ETK 800 is 100% BMW but the 2400i is more an Audi 100

 

The thing is with Gabesters "art" is that the cars are so generic looking, they aren't really based on one car in particular.

 

but at the same time he makes them in just you way you want to destroy them at the same time you love them

 

Did a small little 'shop on the ETK. Crossing my fingers for a version like this!

wow, you have the exact same frame of mind as me, cant wait for a car like this one or a swedish tank (volvo knockoff) to just keep driving and driving, its what gives the car character, even through a computer screen
