I started working on this a couple of months ago and then ended up taking a break from modding, but I'm back now and plan on finishing it off as my next released project. Let me know what you think and leave any suggestions as its very early on and I can still implement things relatively easily. One of the major challenges I'm facing at the moment is the suspension design, I would like to make a rather complex system that was featured on the Mercedes Benz One. It allows for completely separate bump and roll, spring and dampening rates while alleviating the need for a conventional "anti roll bar" or "sway bar". This should be the fastest hatch BeamNG Drive has seen if all goes to plan.
This will be amazing, you did a great job on the model so far! I cant wait to see how this thing goes around a track. That hill climb/touring variant looks mean!
What are you trying to make? A 1-series/A-class production knockoff or a unique racecar built from an 800 series? Anyway, Make the wheelbase bigger. Cars with short wheelbases handle like crap.
how did you get those pictures of the ETK 400 look so realistic? --- Post updated --- also will it have a rally version?
I love the idea here, but is it me or does the wheelbase look a tad bit too short?. Also, are you planning on changing anything about the design, or is it just an 800-series hatch?
I think you should completely change the design since it's going to be different than ETK 800. Anyways a modern hatchback would be a nice addition to the game.
