I have to say, there's only 2 problems I can find, and they're super nit-pick. #1 The canvas reflects light, shouldn't reflect any at all. #2 Interior driver's camera shakes a lot, but that's probably hard to fix knowing beam. This. Mod. Is. GREAT!! EDIT: It also has a really bad habit of not knowing when to quit. I drifted the thing into a few trees, kept driving it. It only leaned a bit to the right, but it kept cruising at like 45-50 mph. I go around a left turn and I suddenly notice I lost a bit more than a bit of steering... It's been dragging itself along by the front axles. I LOVE IT! it's the Hilux's big brother!
I reduced the specular quite a bit since 0.9, but I'll go ahead and lower it to 0. I'll try to fix that camera, too.
Wow, that was a quicker response than I was expecting. I think you win the award of the fastest developed mod. Been like what, 2-3 weeks for this masterpiece?
Probably 4 or 5 days to initally model, then two weeks to get it in-game. But yeah I had a lot of free time so it has been something to keep me busy. Also, I get email notifications on my phone and I browse the forum whenever I'm working. Plus, I fixed the camera And, the specular is now set to 0 on the canvas.
Hi, First I'd like to congratulate on this new addition to BeamNg. Second I made some adjustments to the engine and drivetrain components, redone the gavril turbo and renamed it and also added a second more stronger turbocharger. Engines should have more realistic torque and power in natural form. new power levels with T300 and T400 turbo : 7.2L I6 360hp/1324nm 7.2L I6 407hp/1450nm 12L I6 636hp/1900nm 12L I6 717hp/2500nm About so, not exactly.. More even and flatter torque curves, based on real ones. The Open frontal and rear differential changed from 4.94 to 3.94, to give better on-road usability, and added frontal and rear LS at 5.25 diff. for the 7.2L I6 off-roading. The 6-speed Auto first changed from 3.5 to 3.7, and rear changed front 3.3 to 3.5, it seemed bit too high as the trucks struggled a bit during start. I think that is all, hope you don't mind.
I guess I haven't had enough time to look at the front end lol. I always get confused with stuff like that, especially when off road cars have signals above the brake lights, which are on the bumper.
i think its good but for some reason, the dry van trailer wont fit the trucks as long as the dry van has its landing gear
thanks so much, other than that good job, the only reason why i use the dry van trailer with it is because the first time i saw the truck, i saw it as a semi like truck --- Post updated --- it seems like it gets over the frame with landing gear ok, but then the fifth wheel comes, and it hits the bottom of the frame of the trailer
