Maybe keeping with the the 'series' idea, as in ETK 800 series, maybe it could be the 6000 series or something.
I meant to reference the nomenclature, but I backspaced it then forgot to add it back in Anyways, yes. 6000 and 6100 perhaps? what interval? 500? 800?
Maybe, the four wheeled version could be the 4000 series and any others could go at 500 intervals or have a letter after them denoting the version. So the camper version could be 6000c or 4000c.
looks nice. I wish i could make a mod but i dont know how. Im very good with 3d modeling but cant import into beamng, do lights, jbeam etc.
It's just a frame and a little bit of suspension. Currently, it's some kind of memory error though It says "Couldn't allocate 32.50 MB block (block too large)" And the file size is only 18.7 MB since I crunched the camper interior texture T_T EDIT: It was the front suspension JBeam. EDIT: There we go!
Okay, I've made some progress, but there are issues as well. I'm still plagued by the "failed to get render mesh" error, and the frame is too floppy, even though beamSpring and beamDamp values are pretty much maxed out. Anyways, I'm hoping somebody out there can help me out.
Will you go with 6000/4000 series for sure? I'll keep the 1500 for my SUV then and could stop thinking about better names. Really looking forward to this!
Hi, Just as a test, i renamed the meshes to see if that did anything. i put a 1 on the end of the mesh name. I then changed the mesh name in the flexbody section as well, and the rims showed up. So you will probably need to rename those wheel meshes to get them to work.
I tried that, I will try it again. EDIT: Didn't work, even after clearing the cache. I don't know why this is.
Honestly it looks pretty good, but I think the back might be a bit heavy, realistically at least. Kinda looks like a big block of metal back there. Otherwise, the vehicle itself looks pretty good, but you might want to just leave it as a Merc instead of an ETK, since ETK is obviously meant to be a BMW, not a Merc, but of course, it is your mod, not mine.
