i gotta agree i always found it kinda weird how the plate is on the bumper rather than the tailgate, even if the plate was just moved up it would make the "line" across the tailgate make more sense as to hold plate lights and where you'd open the tailgate
edit: i gave it a go myself and despite the crappy photoshop i still think it looks more realistic
edit2: i had another idea that i just tried, moving the bottom of the tailgate down. i think it looks better
edit3: @CaptainZoll i hope you dont mind but i combined both of ours and fixed some of my photoshopping, i personally think it looks much better

 

Cheer up. That's nowhere near the bottom of the barrel for weird obsessive behaviour on the internet. Go and read some fanon for Star Trek, or Harry Potter, or talk to someone who's into Skyrim lore.

I too think that rear bumper panel line might look better with a bit of tweaking, but I'm not sure what you're getting at with the back door.

For example, Some Beam Fans (Beamies?) find it annoying how the D Series doesn't have headrests on the bench seats despite the fact a lot of US pickups of the time did.

You could write a whole book on BeamNG Vehicle inaccuracies.

I suspect in the (far) future, the 800 will receive a face lift. I predict thinner head and tail lamps, a larger grill and a more "techy" interior.

The headlights are too weak. In modern cars, a part of the rating for the crash test is that the headlights stay working, so at night cars can see them instead of running into them. Thats why turn signals come on in a crash.

 

After updating to 0.21.2, I noticed a slight issue with the rear numberplate (both US and EU plates), looking like it is partly stuck in the standard Rear Bumper (just the standard rear bumper, not the TT-Sport one).

i know im like 5 months late but yes, ive never liked the rear of the 800. something was always just wrong with it. its just so weird. i think its the arch between the taillights as well as what you said. also the taillights themselves just looking very dated. this is a 2014 ish car, they should be led. but whatever.

 

Hope we will get a proper Top of the Line ETK 800 thats like a C63 with a V8 or an M3 with a powerfull i6

 

I'd really like to see an in-game performance version with a TT V8, a 10-speed automatic and adjustable sports exhaust! An 858 TT-Sport+ maybe? Could the ''Rennen'' nameplate enter the world of BeamNG, maybe?
Although it is extremely fun, I somehow got fed up with the Stage-1 turbo on the 856 TT-Sport+ (my favourite version so far, for true Bahnstorming)!
