Everybody complains that this sholdnt be ETK. But there was the Audi 50 that was just a rebadged Golf, and ETK is very close to Audi. So the ETK brand suits this car perfectly (just make it more luxurious than the Golf). But what if you give this car some letter/number index like 1000series or 1100series instead of Fein? Or if you want to keep the Fein badge, you can make the car have both index and a common name. ETK 1050hx Fein sounds good, too. And final question: will this car be FWD or RWD? I suggest the former.
It was a Polo. And it was the other way around, actually the first Polo came after the Audi 50 as a decontented version. Anyway, Audi wasn't perceived as a "premium" brand back then. ETK to me is closer to BMW. I'm unconvinced by the choice of the ETK brand myself, but we have to remember that these are all fictional brands. ETK could well have sold an economy hatchback while BMW was staying away from that market segment for all we know.
Yeah, I was wrong. That 50 really was a Polo. Anyway, there was a car that was manufactured both under VW and Audi brand. To me, ETK is more like Audi (at least in the 80s) because the I-series is very similar to Audi 80 B3.
Lets play the "guess horsepower game" I tink the base line will be 50-60 bhp. Not more. and on the GTI Variant (Or however you plan calling it) 120bhp.
What about the Etk... Club? If you want some references image for some reasons, I have a golf II. Btw what kind of diesel engines have you planned. Like GTD version or the good old base diesel engine with 54hp ? (don't know what diesel engines are planned) Might be fun to do special version like the Memphis or Boston...
