¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Am I doing something wrong? I deleted ver1.3 and did a deep cache clear before installing ver1.4. The only other mod I have for this one is the USDM K-Series mod. I even verified my Steam installation and tested in D3D11 and Vulkan. It shifts the door glass to opposite sides, the soft top is invisible, the carbon hard top shows no texture and invisible from the outside, and it shifts the EU license plate to the lower bumper. The USDM plates are in the normal spot. I'm SOL on solutions. EDIT: PROBLEM HAS BEEN RESOLVED, DISREGARD THIS POST
For some people going into \AppData\Local\BeamNG.drive\0.35 and deleting the "temp" folder fixed it for most people that had this happen to them. I have literally no idea why it happens, nothing in the mod should cause this.
It could be due to the .cdae file included in the mod. This format is not supported for mods and can break things
Ah well I usually update the cdae alongside the mod files but I guess I just forgot this time. My fault
Thank you very much for the the recommendation. I just tested it out and it works, none of the problems I listed are present. This is my most played mod in BeamNG, the detail and the effort you put in is superb. Sometimes I forget it's a mod and not part of the base game, it's that good. I found the most fun in taking it to the Historic Hirochi Raceway and racing in the 1980s AI races. Good times
There is no point of putting the .cdae in mod files in the first place. The reason it exists in vanilla content is to speed up loading the vehicle for the first time, because every time you load a vehicle, the game checks if a .cdae file exists somewhere in the files, and if not, it generates it and puts it in temp folder. But it doesn't check the mods folder, in case a mod had an outdated .cdae file of a vanilla vehicle that would break the car. So when you put the file in a mod, a copy will be generated anyway but never used because the one in the mod files exists too. The one in the mod has priority and that's why it breaks things if you forget to update it. I think the behavior might be different on unpacked mods though so you might not notice it being broken on your end. Also, last update, we changed the .cdae format completely, which likely broke .cdae files in some mods that used them which could include this one.
you only have to delete the car from this folder go to the AppData/Local/BeamNG.drive/0.35/temp/vehicles and delete the etkk version (Idk if this work for someone else but for me it works fine)
yes u need the mouse the triggerboxes are these small blue boxes that appear when u hover over them with the mouse on this car it is pretty much in the middle front of the roof
