Every D-Series addon mod broken

When I spawn any mod based on the D-Series I get an error that says:

I would really love to know if there's a way to fix this issue by changing the files or something, thanks.

I had this happen to me a couple times but I just ignore it and it goes away.

 

Beat this bro.
Fix one car and a couple other things but make sure to break every mod ~BeamNG.drive

 

kind of, everything functions but the camera is in a weird position. It also only revs, doesn't drive or change gears.

Having exact same issue after the 0.32 update. Deep cleared cache, verified files, and uninstalled every mod and turned out its any mod that's based on the d series.

 

yes i really hope they fix it or there is a solution.

 

so the D-Series is just stuffed at the moment, as of the latest update?

i don't get that issue and i have a bunch of d-series mods

 

I know its something to do with the coding of the D series frame changed but idk what changed exactly. somebody who mods trucks should know if anybody sees this.

 

You hace to go into options while in the vehicle, then go to camera go down to reset order and it should work but you have to do it on every mod that doesn’t work

 

that fixed my camera issue, but some of the mods' engines only rev but dont move. it doesnt even show the tachometer.

I installed the DFA pack yesterday, I had the camera issue and did the steps listed, but my engine runs and everything, this happens to all the d-series’s and pickup truck mods I have installed, the camera broke but I was able to drive them
Solution: Go into controls and see if you have bindings for the Throttle key (Up), or if you have a steering wheel/controller make sure you have bindings to Throttle (will go as follows) and you have bindings for gear up and down (X for shift up and Z to shift down, if you have a stick shift/controller the bindings will go as follows), if you don’t have bindings for throttle, shift up and down, that may be your problem. If that is the case, make sure to set up the bindings as follows

 

I think what they mean "it revs but doesn't drive" is that it acts as if there isn't a transmission installed/won't shift out of N. I have had that happen plenty of times on occasion due to an incompatible "More parts" mod that added transmissions.

 

Heres more lua errors if anyone is interested in trying to look for a problem because this is a big issue after the new update

 

Yes, I have the same problem, all pickup mods are broken!

 

it thinks theres no engine or transmission at all, the gauges dont move from 0rpm inside the truck when it revs

thanks for posting that, im sure it could be useful for someone to fix it. also, is that the same ram mod im using in the photo?

 

i found the problem but im not gonna make a subreddit on it so u do it, when the update released i guess for some reason the steamworks folder with common redist in it and all that got moved to d drive so go into the steamapps folder and find steamworks then just open file location for beamng on steam and drop it back in there
