    The control panel, even less customization/control/whatever, and so on. There's about one bad thing for every one good thing so far. (Just my opinion though.)

    Why would MS give us less control over our computer? We should be able to every we want, not have a simplfied computer, I think they should have 2 versions of the control panel, one for non tech savy users (So a basic interface for people who only want to connect their printer) and a control panel for everyone else like us.

    You mean the way they've been doing it for over a decade?

    I'm not saying the new settings thing is bad, I just preferred the full control panel with everything listed.

    Uhh. Yeah, ever since like Win2k it opens up the basic categorized one by default and you can change it to the full list.

    Cleared the update folder and used the command to restart the download and it seems to be going well.

    Downloaded the whole thing from scratch in just under 4 minutes, I'm seriously impressed that Microsoft's CDNs are holding up with all of this traffic, I'd have thought for sure it'd be crawling along.

    Welp, I was thinking out wiping my laptop in favour of Windows 10, but if I don't have complete control over my computer I'm not even considering an upgrade.

    It doesn't show for me yet. I'm not in wednesday though, still tuesday for me.
    This is true. It looks like there are some ways to do it, but no easy ways.

    You can still force it to download early like I did. Look one or two pages back.

    It's whatever you already have but with a 10 instead of a 7 or 8.1. I had 8.1 Pro x64 so I got 10 Pro x64.

    Thanks, this worked. For some reason, Windows Update wants me to upgrade to it right now and it's a day before the release (It's still the 28th where I live), I backed up some stuff just in case.

    Yeah, I did it at like 11PM. Everything is still here, except for CPUz for whatever reason, but I just reinstalled that and it's fine.

    Is that for insiders or people who reserved? I signed up for insider but it's only told me I reserved an upgrade.

    I reserved it and then ran the CMD prompt above then it downloaded and updated to 10. So, yeah. Do it.

    Well tried to update = no new

    Looked for the command prompt in admin = nothing for now being 2 minute


    Open C to see the windows bt file with full of stuff and a Setup.exe

    Should i wait or try to start that thing?
