I narrowed down my BSOD to one of the updates it forces. I know this because when i disconnected it from the internet and fresh installed (for the 4th time) it didn't crash within that 40 mins. I got the update blocker thing from Windows troubleshooting page, so, hopefully with all the updates blocked nothing should fail. Hopefully.
I thought it had been removed. I always uninstalled it anyway since i use other software. EDIT: My mistake, its windows media center that no longer exists.
Still works perfectly here. The only thing that's changed with media in Windows 10 is an improvement, not a removal, since they added native FLAC support.
Does anyone know if it is possible to remove the first lock screen? On my tablet it brings up a lock screen, i then have to swipe up, it then gives me a screen where i have to log into my windows account. Is it possible to get the device to get rid of this swipe screen? Its pointless.
Windows 10 works like a charm here, also downloaded and installed fine. The only problem I have is that it doesn't like to activate, even tho I upgraded from a legit version of Windows 8.1 (OEM).
I just finished installing Windows 10, and I've had no issues so far. I would still run Windows 7 if I had the option, but I think it's a decent compromise between both Windows 7 and 8.1.
I think its for 3d printing. Presumably microsoft sees that 3d printing is going to be big and wants to have some decent bundled software so they dont end up in a situation where they have the microphone recording application and a apple has garage band preinstalled.
In which case yes. Lots of people have got windows 10 installed on their computers. Me included on my tablet but not my main PC.
