Failed to create resource

I tried deleting the settings folder, but I now have no sounds at all.

My new support ID is 20575.

 

After running the game a few times, the sounds have returned. But still only the basic engine sound.

 

Did anyone get a chance to take a look at my support ID ? I would really like to play beamng again with normal sounds.

 

I am running a completely clean version of the game which I installed yesterday with no mods. I have a choice of 4 audio devices, only one has sound although it's just a very basic engine sound with no other sounds at all. Unfortunately, the hotfix didn't work as I am still getting the same errors as before.

Here is a video of whats going on. For some reason, the error messages didn't show up in the recording but you can still hear the sounds of them. As you can see, the only sound I have is the engine.

 

I can confirm i am running a completely clean version of the game following the instructions described in the wiki.

I have 2 speakers and a sub connected via a standard 3.5mm audio jack. I am using a realtek audio device which I have just updated to the most recent version. No custom audio software.

 

Is this problem already fixed, or still being checked, as I have the same error messages and absolutely no sound except the engine's and haven't found a fix for it (done 3 clean reinstalls, got no mods anymore on the pc, checked ingame settings, cleared cache, etc.)

 

I've ordered a completely new pc, will report back if the problem persists.

It says: "Failed to create resource (is the file missing?): event:>Surfaces>Asphalt_Roll" and after klicking the OK-button for three times it says the same but with "_Skid" instead of "_Roll" (everything without the ""!). After klicking the OK-button some more then, the game load as usual, but then there's NO sound but the engines. (sorry if my writing sucks, I'm not a natural english-speaker)

 

TOTALLY sure! Downloaded 3 times again, always said 0.10.0.1. Support ID: 21457

 

I tried switching headphones (because I first experienced this issue with a different pair of headphones than the ones I usually use) but it didn't fix it
