now thats a collision! i need to get into terrain editing so i can basically make a gridpure map with a huge wall at the end of it so i can hit it at max speed. i've edited the police interceptor engine to 2000hp but only managed to get it up to 209mph. got some editing work with the gears or something to do i guess

I've used the editor to put the marshall a couple of KM above the ground, reached a satisfying 537km/h on impact!

581MPH, V8 4WD, truck still performs great at cruise speed (100MPH)

You can literally make the truck into what ever you want. (Gear ratios, power, red line, shift points)

THANK YOU DEV TEAM, your code is perfect.

    New personal record for me.

    772MPH!

Very hard, handles like it's on pizza cutters.

There's no reason to ever stop playing this!

    862MPH!

The sidewalls do not like these speeds....you get a pretty bad case of floppy wheels.

I modified engine jbeam to get more power and now if I don't press throttle, the wheels are blocking. This only happens in manual transmission mode. Any ideas how to fix it?

Not a car, but I modded the H45 Cabster to do wheelies!

    (imported from here)

It will get up to about 242 MPH too. :) Modding the car files is fun!

The newest tire changes *should* allow for better top speeds. I got 121 mph out of the Grand Marshal stock just now. It used to only do 108.

    1133MPH!!!

    The murder pickup craves speed!

I wish I knew what controls the expansion rate of the wheels and tires. Like sidewall node strength or something. Increasing the friction coefficient of the tires helps, but only so much.

It lost control fairly quick after that:

I messed around and guessed with the code on the sport wheels, made a few lines on the tire strings: 99999...

    Maybe needs more 9s? lol

The fastest I have got was 217MPH in a modded Civetta Bolide:
    500 Torque Max.
    'seven-gears'
    All wheel Drive
    Max RPM - 9500
Bearing in mind it is a pretty drivable config.
