Mozzerella is great when melted and American because it feels good to eat something cheap once in a while.

Now this is a thread I can get behind.
I like most sharp cheeses, from roughly 10 months and upwards. It is hard to beat cheddar cheese - my particular favorites being Excalibur and Australian Old Croc. Another good contender, imo, is Davidstow Sharp Cheddar - it is kinda like swiss/cheddar mix. Swiss cheese is pretty good, especially with meat/bread on the side. That being said, as far as I'm concerned Swiss cheese really has to have some massive holes in it otherwise it means the flavor isn't really as pronounced. Pecorino Romano is also really good (especially if you get the kind made from sheep milk.)
That all being said, my personal absolute favorite is torn between Old Croc Extra Sharp Cheddar and Classic Old Winchester. Of course, these are both more on the crunchy/crumbly side so if you like creamy cheeses you'd probably hate those.

    I like cheese. :p

Red Leicester is pretty damn good, probably just because it's bright orange - nice on fresh white bread from the bakery.

Gouda, Boursin, Baby-Bell and Laughing Cow spreadable cheese are good too though.

Now that I think about it, White American + Mozerella makes a good queso, and white cheddar is good on popcorn. For general purpose those I listed earlier still stand though

Gouda, usually I go for less aged on bread, but aged can be very nice too
