Ehh even when I searched for them specifically as Lincoln parts the prices didn't actually seem too bad, most of the parts not even being in the triple digits in terms of costs for most of the parts you listed.
1997 Saab 9-5 Saloon I started to learned to drive in 2005 Toyota Yaris I passed in 2010 Volvo V60 D5 SE LUX for my daily, and I have only held a licence for a year so I am f**king lucky to get on my mums car Currently working towards 2009 Jaguar XF 3.0L V6 Diesel Sport
Well then there you go. With my most recent purchase that's what I did before I bought the car. I made sure that parts are readily available for the vehicle and can be gotten rather cheaply. Plus I waited around until I got a deal that would be considered robbery in most parts of the world This is what I ended up with (sorry about the really crappy picture... it looks nice on my phone but rather fuzzy on here )
Nice car(even though I mistook it for an Opel GT briefly). But even if parts are cheap enough there's still the fact that it would probably be getting MPGs in the single digits most of the time, and I'd need to make sure that it has normal suspension rather than air suspension because I know that would be more prone to failure and more expensive to replace.
Now that is true. If you are driving it around town, MPG on something like that can be pretty bad. But before you make assumptions, look it up. I was not originally planning to get my Corvette because I figured fuel milage would be terrible, but at a steady 26MPG... it does better than my Subaru. Well, I say that, but I just looked it up and confirmed that its in the low 12's to high 10's... But, sometimes to get your dream car, sacrifices have to be made.
Depends. Most possibly the 2007 diesel Toyota Corolla that is my dad's daily driver now. But if he decides to keep it, it depends on the gas budget. If it's low, I'd get an used Prius, or a different used diesel Corolla. If it's moderate, I'd get an used Accord. If it's high, I'd get an used 2.0 Subaru Impreza WRX. Probably the first.
Well if I did get it I most likely wouldn't drive it much as I stated before but I still would like something that could be used as a daily driver and as stated before I wasn't too keen on the idea of getting my dream car as my first car regardless, I'd prefer something cheap all around and somewhat unremarkable, something I could use as a daily driver.
My first vehicle was a 2001 Toyota Tacoma crew cab Not mine in the photo but had the exact same look This is what happen to it Spoiler
dont ride that thing the winter... rust is gonna kill this poor thnig (if its auto dump it in the snow)

techniqualy my car is mine too but i need to get a job to pay everything that comes with and i got my liscence 1 mounth ago
A 2006 Saturn Vue. I got the (slightly shitty) SUV after my mom bought her 2016 Kia Soul. The A/C is messed up,the upholstery is stained from my sister and I, paint scratches just about everywhere, there's a huge dent in the hatch + a small gash in the rear bumper, and it has around almost 183,000 miles. It's an I4 5 speed auto, FWD, bone stock. I wanna put money in to this baby but it'll probably die soon. *knock on wood* EDIT: Hatch dent pic + bumper
I used to have a 2006 Volvo V50. T5, with AWD. It had a lot of problems; the engine was blown up and so was the turbo. (badly overheated). I had the car for about 2 years. handled like a dream... The coil packs kept going on me while i was driving, and so the CEL was constantly on and flashing. I ended up scrapping it last year due to the transmission blowing up on me. I found a picture of a similar one online, as i have deleted the ones i took
