Firwood County, USA, an East Coast USA expansion project. (My first time doing anything map related) This is going to be a reworked version of East Coast, to introduce updated roads, buildings, and much more. My goal is to expand the town, and possibly introduce additional towns on the outskirts. I have a lot of plans for this, and I figured I would create a thread to get this going and gather some interest. Suggestions are fully welcome, I'm open to this being a sort of community driven project aswell. If you have any ideas, feel free to share! This project is still in very early stages, so I only have a few screenshots for right now of what I've worked on. This map will be free and on the repository, but don't expect release until after v0.39.
are you expanding the actual terrainblock? or are you adding a mesh extension? or is still going to be the same size just with more content?
One quick question how large are the shoulders going to be on the map or is there going to be a ditch?
will there be an actual highway and not a revision of the bump and pot hole fest that the east coast highway is?
Looks super sick! Would you reckon a drift track like this might fit? not some crazy fd style track but i think it fits the vibe of East Coast.
