And this is exactly why I never liked paid mods in the first place (50% this 50% I'm cheap). I just knew that when people saw paid mods being successful, they would start selling crap like this and it would start spreading like a disease.
tbf, BeamNG Paid mods are not that heavily priced compared to game addons like MSFS or others. Albeit, most MSFS mods are generally more detailed and complex than BeamNG mods.
The mod isn't terrible. Half-decent crash model with everything on the car detailed, but there are a few unrealistic caveats.

But there’s a difference between calling this a scam and being upset that someone like thetalkingbath haven’t made a free mod in “ages” or that lucasbe is making more paid mods than he used to. 24 minutes of talking about how we’re all doomed lmao Me personally I don’t want to archive this mess. It’s just a pain to even look at. I wish people could do better but again this is the beamng forums we’re talking about
Woah, I missed quite the drama. I guess I'll give my two cents since I have the mod. Now, let me preface this by saying I did not pay for the mod, but that wasn't on purpose. When I first saw screenshots floating around of it, I gave it a quick search and the top result had it for $0 on some standard pay site, KoFi maybe? I've seen modders do this before, so I figured it was legit and picked it up. Immediately I noticed the model and skins were a 1 to 1 match for a CMS2022 mod, but I shrugged it off since it was free and it was fun to drive. Now knowing that it was supposed to be $15, I'm baffled. I'm upset since, despite its flaws, it's still enjoyable to play with (the longtail carves up tracks like nothing). Ultimately, I definitely wouldn't have gotten it if I had to pay though. Especially not $15.
