Hey guys, Just wondering if you have thought about adding a flip button for when the car lands on its side or roof? I know you have the reset button, but alot of the time, the cars are still perfectly drive able with roof damage etc, Of course its nice to have a shiny car to carry on with and crash again, but I wouldn't mind having that choice to make myself.
Maybe they could add invisible thrusters to make it flip, but the cars won't flip magically, there must be some force causing it.
Probably a nooby question but in Next Car Game the car flips but the damage stays. Can't that be implemented?
I like the idea of being able to pull it back over with a wrecker, or tow truck. And I'm sure it's been brought up before, but the option to deform body panels with a simple tool would be pretty unique. For derby cars you could usea small hammer to put creases in the body panels, or a sledge hammer to canoe the trunk. Maybe a torch or cutting tool so that your body panels don't interfere with your tires. And you could use a come along that's anchored to the ground and wrapped around the frame to pull the frame back to straight. Just a couple ideas that are kind of off topic.
for now, just flick between zero gravity and pluto gravity to sorta gently bounce the car onto it's wheels again. then kick it back into earth gravity at the right moment.
I don't think that's very easy. I'd guess node dragging would come back instead, like in Rigs of Rods. But maybe not for some time.
i personally would like to see some sort of recovery option as well.anything really that will allow you to retain the damage youve cause but stil use the vehicle again
Do you mean like repair your car At your location if yes Press CTRL+R It will flip and fix your car but stay in the location of the crash And if you just Want to respawn Press I or R
One thing that would be cool is if you could reset the car back to its spawn location, but it would still have all the damage it sustained in the crash. But still keeping the reset button that puts you back fixed.
F7 does exactly this, re-spawns the car back to spawn location, while keeping momentum, direction, and damage
