The thing is, games provide literal days' worth of entertainment (I have 600+ hours in Beam) whereas a lot of mods only entertain for a couple of hours at best. And they will never become free or be published to the repo. I am fine with paid early access, that means you can get it for free if you wait. Also quite frankly this mod doesn't seem like it's very "high quality" to me. The only paid mods I'd even consider would be the scout and similar vehicles with dev or higher quality. And only because they will never become free. And yes I know it has a crane but that still doesn't make it all magically better. A modified vanilla (I think) barge doesn't scream "paid mod quality" to me.
1. Mods extends the possibilities 2. Vanilla barge ? What are you on with ? There's none in the base game
Yes, mods extend possibilities, but not by a whole lot, and FYI I usually don't buy official DLC for a lot of games. I thought there was a vanilla barge... or maybe that was a mod someone else made. Either way, I have seen that barge before this mod. Granted not with the props, but I have seen it before.
Ok then don't constantly complain about it If you don't wanna buy it, don't buy it. It's not like the world is going to explode if you don't buy a paid ship mod for a vehicle physics simulator
Yeah, but what bugs me is the increase in paid mods. Also, the fact that most paid mods make it to completion, and most non-paid mods don't.
Uh, this actually will become free when his YouTube channel gets to 20K subs, don't complain about his first mod. If you don't want to purchase paid mods, I'm fine with that. But if you don't buy paid mods and instead pirate them then you and every person who does that are fucking pathetic.
Oh ok. So it's paid early access then. Sorry bout that. and I DO NOT PIRATE MODS. I don't like paid mods but I don't steal them!
