This is my first map for BeamNG. Right now I have all the roadwork done and I'm still planning to add more roads, jumps and lots of other fun stuff to smash your car to bits.
This map has 3 4x4 trails so far and its main roadwork done, I still need to go through and do some more smoothing on sections, Add trees and brush/rocks. and overall fine tuning on the map.
Feel free to offer ideas! I plan on releasing a beta once I get more work done on it and fix a few small bugs.
Here are some pictures of the map for you guys

    BETA OUT NOW! 3/10
download it below and tell me what you think.
I need more ideas for stuff and I still need to learn how to spawn buildings and the like.
Less trees and rocks. more FPS friendly now.
    Fixed the sky.
    General overall little fixes

Thanks for looking. I plan to keep working on this map until I feel like it is finished, then I plan on making a larger map :D

    Known errors
It has two missing two rock textures I didn't even use. when you start the map ignore those. If anyone could help me figure out how to get rid of them that would be sweet xD

If someone could help me get the preview image working that would be so helpful. I have the image in the file but I can't get it to work.

Have some super high resolution images of your map (16384x4096 pixels :D ). I had to use dropbox to upload them, Attaching them reduced the file size from 12mb to 5mb. So im not sure what happened there.

Also please delete 70% of the rocks in the lake, there is no need for them and personally i think it looks nicer with less (i modified the level to make it a little smoother fps wise). I also had to add the sky texture in myself.

Thanks for the feedback! and I like it more with less rocks as well.
And the sky error is fixed, I had two skies :p You just had to delete the one at the top of the scene tab named "The Sky" then the sky would appear. Will be fixing that in the next release tomorrow :D
And thank you for the Hi res pics! ᴵ ʰᵃᵛᵉ ᵗᵒ ʳᵘᶰ ᶦᵗ ᵃᵗ ᶫᵒʷ ᵒᶰ ⁸⁰⁰ˣ⁶⁰⁰⋅⋅

When you sort out the rocks you should get a pretty huge bump in performance. To fix that issue i just used the vegetation eraser at a low pressure setting and went over it a few times until i was happy. You could also do this with the trees. If you are struggling with another map you can do it to that to to create your own custom high fps version.

For the record i dont run the game at that resolution. Next time you try and take a screenshot try using alt+p instead of ctrl+p. It will take a screenshot at a higher resolution than your screen.

It's not the map. I'm on a laptop right now with integrated graphics. :( But it runs the game on low with decent FPS so works for me :D

    Re: Fluff Mountian

My fps went from 30 to 60 after deleting some rocks/trees. So it certainly made a difference for me. I guess you have a low LOD/render distance set so it will probably only improve it much for you when you are very close to the rocks

Wow that's a huge jump, I'll take some rocks out of the lake and I'll try to work on the trees some.

And is there anything else you'd like to see on the map changed or added? I need more ideas

So I've put more work into the fine smoothing of the roads and the nearby areas but I don't want to release the next beta until I can figure out how to get rid of the two missing rock texture errors it spits out when I start the map, If anyone could help me figure out how to get rid of them it would be tons of help
