Issue with textures seems to be confirmed as a bug with BeamNG.Drive and not my map. But we will see. At the moment I got some help from torsion on the spawn and portals. I will probably need a screenshot example of how do do portals, but I have the resources now to figure out the system. Expect a release near the end of the thanksgiving week if the texture issue is fixed in a timely manner and I finish the first mine and dont go off on another creative streak.
Good news: The missing-normal-map texture glitch has been fixed in v0.4.3.2. The portals just need to be done exactly like they are in Gridmap: eg each portal should be attached to the general "Environment" plus at least one Zone. So for a tunnel with two entrances you'd have 2 portals and 1 zone.
I tested the update and I confirm that the textures are fixed! Development resumed. I will work on the portals first then finishing the details on the first small mine and then I will upload a release.
Ok, Sorry for the delay between messages! I have a new terrain in the works guys, so this one will become obsolete. HOWEVER, I will be releasing this map on Friday, with atleast an updated spawn point. You will spawn in the small mine shaft. Also, look out for the thread!
Update; I will upload the map when my used Logitech G25 comes in the mail. Expected to be Tuesday or Wednesday.
Sure you dont Its my choice for release timing. I just chose the time-frame around when my wheel is supposed to come in. I'm trying to finish up a couple things on this map aswell, and with the lack of motivation on this its kinda hard to get stuff done. And combine that with school work, well..... It takes longer to work on the fun stuff.
I would like to ask if you ever found any motivation to finish this and if you are on summer break yet? sorry to bump this dead thread
