If you want to have a conversation with someone, there is a great application called 'Discord', and it's free, and easy to use.

Facebook was the last thing I thought of. What came to my mind was the profile comment system on DeviantART, typically seen toward the bottom of a users profile.

I believe what would've been a better approach was to at least find something, maybe even just one thing, that could be salvaged, such as maybe rendering it to where only the user themself can post there while no one else can't.

 

Hmm, I wonder how much work it would be to add small number to that chat button at the top that would display number of users there?

That would probably make more people use it instead of spamming forums?
