Forum changes

damn, we have become really dramatic

 

Well, that cleans forums a bit

 

Its probably offensive to someone (not trying to be a dickhead or rude but sadly that is a thing in 2018). Personally I don't have a problem but there must be some softies on here that do. If they're transgender, why not add a status for that, or even non binary (if thats your thing). And if you don't want people to know your gender, add an option for that too. Strange to get rid of it. Were humans not bloody aliens. And I think its sad the comment section on profile pages has been removed. Other than that, like whats happening so we can get rid of the toxic mess on this forum.

Yeah it is a bit weird (no offense to anyone) but you've either got a bit or the other thing and you're either trans or straight/gay/whatever, but if thats a compromise that needs to be made (as in adding the non binary option) then screw it lol.

 

Or, if they were to for some reason add the feature back, they could say "Original gender: M/F" /s

That's not what I said. The removal of displaying your gender was a good decision. My post was kind of a joke.

I see its very rare for people to simply...not care...atleast we have our mods...that'd be the only reason I'd quit...

I feel with all the current changes to the forum in the past few days its definitely improved the place alot at least we can now all see when we get notifications now and at least we can rate comments now either liking them, agreeing with them or telling if they are informative or not, I am not sure where else to find improvements I guess in time we will all have to see how it goes

My counter argument to this is simple, would you want death threats being openly posted on your account or would you prefer there not to be death threats?

Too right its a good thing they are back and more understandable now since we can agree or like it or find it informative!

There's other ways to deal with it than just deleting the feature, like blacklisting certain words and so on and so on.
Also, I have more physical energy to just delete these messages, it's never happened on this forum before anyways.
