Oh god do i need to repeat the same thing for hundred of times? Cant yall just read the whole post? --- Post updated --- some parts of suspension and brakes will be unificated with beamng ones (im not making this model ONLY for beamng)
Im just gonna ignore any further name suggestions, since i already decided with Opel/Vauxhall Frontera name. Also there is chinese version planned (Frontera was produced in China til 2016 under Landwind brand), i will call it Changcheng R600 (changcheng means great wall, any chinese speakers can improve this if its not right)
I just noticed the facelift rims are on this picture lol, they are so poorly drawn that i didnt even recognize them
well the Landwind X6/X9 is based on the old Isuzu MU platform so I guess thats close enough not really a rebadge though and now that I was looking at greatwall cars omg theyre ugly
I suggest naming it "烽火"(Fenghuo), which comes from the beacon towers on ancient city walls such as the Great Wall - The name reference to the real-life Great Wall cars, but not so direct. [In addition,in real life, there is also a Chinese communication technology company named after the word '烽火'. (烽火通信科技/Wuhan Fiberhome International Technologies)] --- Post updated --- In fact, there are many of early Chinese cars based on Toyota Hilux and Isuzu Pickups, not just Lanwind and Great Wall.
I am sorry if this falls under name suggestions and i know you said you wouldnt use bruckell, but why would it be a gavril? Even if it is the closest thing to chevy, it would make way more sense as a bruckell because of the eurogran, which is a roth (and autobello) rebranded legran, and the Walmsley CD.S (S-Type counterpart) with bruckell engines.
Already explained that Gavril is the closest thing to GM. Bruckell and its brands are more of Chrysler concern, also S-Type has nothing to do with Opel Frontera at all. If we consider other mods, theres also Hopper rebadged as Gavril, so it would also be more logical since GM was more closer to japanese brands than others id say. If i will make Honda, i will totally badge it as Ibishu (most closest Honda brand in beamng), for Isuzu there will be other brand. And yet afaik opel and vauxhall didnt rebadge American gm products, most of them were japanese and sometimes australian
