Freeroam map menu STILL not loading in 0.40

After the release of 0.39, I created a few threads addressing an issue with the new UI and how, for whatever reason, the map selection portion of the freeroam menu went from loading within just a few seconds to simply never loading at all, even after well over half an hour of waiting. This issue alone has rendered the game virtually unplayable, at least if I don't want to waste minutes loading into whichever map was automatically selected, then selecting one manually from there.

When I heard news of the 0.40 release, I was hoping that the issue would be resolved or at the very least, acknowledged but no. The very same issue I had in 0.39 persists and neither the devs nor the community have addressed this issue, given how my previous threads on this problem have gone entirely ignored. In the 4 years or so I've been playing, I've never had an issue like this prior to 0.39 and quite frankly, I'm appalled at how it's been well over a month and virtually nobody besides myself has drawn any kind of attention to it, or offered any kind of fix or any remotely helpful advice.

It is unacceptable that this I've had to be plagued with this issue for so long now and I am sick of waiting at this point. Fix it already.

EDIT: Yes, I've cleared my cache and taken just about every other troubleshooting step there is multiple times already, so don't waste my time any further with telling me this or giving any other useless suggestions.

 

You probably go ignored because no one else is having the issue and your attitude isn't very friendly. You don't even tell if you have done the standard troubleshooting steps. Do that first.

 

I've gone through every troubleshooting step multiple times - verifying file integrity, clearing the cache, everything short of uninstalling and reinstalling the game - and none of it has worked or even helped. After having to put up with this crap for well over a month now, I've lost all patience in resolving this and rightfully so as far as I'm concerned, so either suggest something actually helpful or fuck off.

 

I beg to differ, mister Taza. I am having that issue since 0.39. The difference being that in the previous version launching in safe mode actually fixed it. Now in 0.40, I'm running the game on safe mode as we speak, and none of the maps are loading on the first run of the game, now to fix it I have to do the same I did back then, go to the garage, then go back and now I'll see them. I totally agree with ZakBax, and to me 0.40 feels like a rushed update focused on the PS5 release, always the consoles bringing out the worst they can in games, making PC gamers lives harder.

 

I'm also facing the map loading issue with 0.40 update. I'm seeing like this

I also see a mirror glare which I was not seeing in 0.39 version.


I'm new to beamng can you Guys please help me in resolving the issue. I tried restarting, removing the cache also and mods, but nothing help
