Well smelling something depends on the person and time. Some might smell something, others not. It also depends if the money is used a lot. Of course if something smelly is used a lot it will eventually get worn out. So GoogleFluff's money, might be worn out. But hey, it isn't as bad as American money. It is GROSS!
Sometimes older bills get a sweet smell from being handled. It just means they're gross and dirty. I have a couple hundred Egyptian piastres somewhere that smell rank, and I'm pretty sure it's not from maple syrup. Actually, they were brand new ones I got from the bank a few days ago. I think the maple is a placebo. People smell dirty notes and assume it's maple because they've heard the rumours. Anyway, to steer this back on topic: Egyptian currency has both bills and coins for 25 and 50 piastres.
gonna have to try that at some point! i think i have stuck my nose in my money trying to tell myself it does not smell like syrup for long enough... --- Post updated --- maybe every bill i have ever smelled just fell inside a syrup vat or something... --- Post updated --- OT: The speed of light (at 299,792.458km/s) is encoded in the latitude of the great Pyramid. Fun fact #1: Ocean liners like the Titanic went into decline when passenger airplanes took to the skies. Today, only one ocean liner, the Queen Mary 2, remains in active service. Fun fact #2: Like Earth, Mars has 24 hours in a day. Fun fact #3: Venus is almost the same size as Earth, and has gravity almost as strong. Source: Researching these topics.
Venus' atmosphere is so thick, the Venera probe didn't need a parachute to land safely. That flat ring was enough.

Russia had nuclear reactor in an airplane at 60's, they heated air in reactor core and blew that air to engines which gave thrust to make plane to fly, some crew members did live only 3 months after flying the thing because they did not have much of protection in it to save weight. They made something like 40 test flights with it, spitting radioactive air for us all to breathe. US had such in development too, bit earlier than Russians, but it was cancelled before test flights could of made, GE was developing engine that would spit radiation same way as later Russian model, who knows how much radiation of those engine tests spew to air, but as project was cancelled they moved to missiles, that would spew radiation at mach 3 to target areas, however for some reason that was cancelled too, but guidance system was adapted to Typhoon missile.
Cool! I wonder how fast you could run these super-banked tracks in F-1 cars. The high G-Force may cause you to enter G-LOC though. That would not be good at over 200 MPH.
When F1 still ran at Indy, the drivers were scared of the big banked turns like a bunch of little girls.
I think it was when Indy was first time driven by F1 that something around half the grid refused to drive, excuse was that tires will pop, sure there were few tire blowouts, but nothing too major I think. It was quite boring race to watch and I think those watching on track claimed their money back. It is quite many years ago though.
Yeah, one of the tire manufacturers screwed up big time and their tire fell apart on track, leaving over half the drivers unable to race. My parents brought me to the practice session for that race when I was really young.
Well yeah, they weren't used to it. That is how there are so many crashes of F1 and Indy at Indianapolis. It also explains how they are so violent.
