G29 Shifter issue

I own an g29 wheel with it's associated shifter. Sometimes when i play beam and shift into second gear i instead get put into neutral or i get into fourth gear. This only happens some times when i play the game and it only happens on the second gear.

You could say that it's an issue with the shifter but I'm not convinced. I haven't had this issue in any other game(though i haven't played other games as much with wheel and shifter as i have with beam).
I haven't yet been able to replicate the problem effectively so so far it seems quite random.

This issue has been occurring since several updates ago and i've just have been to lazy to report it.

 

I have the G920 and I have no issue...Maybe the drivers
