Yes, since most Gambler 500 vehicles are just bought from a used car lot, many of them do.

Hi there everyone ^^ Here's my Submission for the Gambler 500 :)

Beta - Hirochi Mistral - Gambler 500 Edition | BeamNG (Probably still awaiting approval at the time of this initial post)

The Gambler 500 Hirochi Mistral was once a mid range 1.5 GXL model. After getting into an accident it was destined for the scrap yard but the current owner thought it'd be perfect for the Gambler 500 so they purchased it & got to work.

Fast forward 3 months and you have the Mistral Gambler 500 Special, complete with a lift-kit, custom wheels, chopped bumpers, chopped arches & a roof rack containing all the necessary supplies.

Moving onto the interior the steeringwheel was swapped out for an aftermarket one, the rear seats were removed and the front the seats were swapped out for some sportier ones.

Under the hood the 1.5l DOHC engine has been equipped with a Stage 1 Supercharger, Upgraded Engineblock / ECU, a Race Oil Pan & a High Performance Radiator. The exhaust has also been chopped off underneath & downturned to improve ground clearance.

A Limited slip differential, heavy duty front half shafts have also been installed as well as upgraded brakes. (race discs all around with race pads)

While the Mistral is not the most off-road capable Gambler 500 car it is one of the more reliable due to its simplistic nature & simple modifications. However it does suffer from rear suspension issues, namely the rear suspension collapsing if you're too unforgiving whilst off-roading.

I hope you all like it! :D

Still waiting for approval, but here's what i'm entering for the challenge, in the Automation category (also my first ever AutoBeam creation, so I didn't really dive deeper than the export button).

    https://www.beamng.com/resources/jefferson-pharaoh-coupé-gambler-500-edition.26902/

Since it's still a wait for it to go through, here's the description I wrote in the repo page:

What happens when you take an old Jefferson you found in the desert and plop it on top of a shortened 2500 HD truck chassis from 2003? The answer, of course, is greatness.

With a reliable 6.8 liter pushrod V8, a computer-controlled 5 speed automatic gearbox, switchable transfer case and twin solid axles with locking differentials, this beast can go anywhere it fits without any issue - and come back. Whether its slow rock crawling or high-speed desert mobbing, it can do it all.

Body modifications include steel bumpers and tubular rock sliders, as well as custom fender flares to fit the huge 34 inch tires. Most parts are in their original, patina'd state - except for a reproduction hood finished in satin black.

Engine modifications were limited to a standalone ECU, side-exit exhaust and a set of high-mounted pod filters acting as snorkels.

Inside, the truck's dashboard replaces the original, though a fully digital gauge cluster for the standalone ECU is installed. There is also a hydraulic handbrake for dusty slides, while safety is ensured by a pair of modern racing seats and a fire extinguisher.

Here's a preview to my entry to the contest:

    Theo's Gambler Covet Pickup!

    Background:
A guy from the UK in Utah, (creatively named) Theo decided he wanted to participate in the Gambler. Over a year or so he used his decent metalworking skills to use a few bits of sheet and bar steel and created a pickup out of a used- albeit relatively well kept- Covet 1.5 DX. He used any spare budget on some nice lights and bits of kit, and made sure everything was as replacable and repairable as he possibly could; some examples of this include the Hirochi sealed beam headlights, or the fact that the roof lights are just 3 common parts screwed together. He tried his hardest to make sure it was still bearable to drive on the road, and made sure it was road legal. The images below are the result of this:

    The Mod Itself:
Throughout this project, which I started on the day the challenge was announced, I have tried my hardest to make sure everything works as smoothly as i can possibly make it, and works standalone. As an example of this, I have made it so the sealed beams can be applied to the standard covet (pictured below), and that parts like my tubular bumpers can be fitted to the regular car with little-to-no hitch. I have also made nearly everything removable, and most if not everything has been meticulously textured and jbeamed. All of this is mine :D

I hope you all like this; i post updates frequently on Discord :D
