I have no idea what the hell this thing is. More of a joke post ( car ) then a gambler-500. I made it about 6 weeks ago. But it goes go off road very well. it's called the Super safety bouncer. When its not safe at all. It has a silly V16 in it for some reason. That is FWD ( but with AWD models to ) When am not making silly cars here is a 70s car i made ( sorry last photo off topic )
Here's my entry for the gambler 500 contest! :) This automation mod has been made for the Gambler 500 contest. This mod features the Vanaas R200 sports roadster that was originally built as an affordable light sportscar, but now modified to compete in the Gambler 500 offroad contest. The R200 comes with a standard 2.2L inline 4 producing 170hp. The 2.2L has been fitted with an ebay turbo kit making it produce around 250hp (there wasn't enough budget for dyno tuning). The R200 has also been fitted with DIY bumpers and roll cage made from junkyard materials and has been fitted with taller springs and very wide spacers to give it a slightly better chance offroad. A spare tire was thrown on the back to make sure you don't end up stranded in the middle of nowhere. There is a small tent mounted on the roof for incase that happens aswell. https://www.beamng.com/resources/gambler-500-wagon-powered-by-snowmobile.26997/ You don't need huge lifted trucks to go offroad, all you need is checks notes a snowmobile powered Swedish wagon? Created in Automation, lightly configured in beamNG to replicate a car that is powered by a 3cyl Polaris storm snowmobile, retaining the snowmobiles CVT mechanism sending power to the rear wheels. It's more capable than you may expect.
Okay, so basically... I updated the Civetta swapped Grand Marshal and lets say, I made it a monster. I finally changed it to awd (for some reason the front wheels get more power than the rear event tho I wanted to make it 50/50) and gave it a ton more hp and torque. Oh yea, lets not forget about the tow hitch I added. It can carry campers no problem. Be careful driving on the asphalt, the tires like to explode..... --- Post updated --- https://www.beamng.com/resources/civetta-swaped-grand-marshal.26919/ it wont let me add the link to the actual post
For the flag, you could make the gambler side have a little bit of the union jack showing on the borders with stitches to make it look like whoever's built that did that flag themselves using an old british flag
All of the submissions to gambler contest must be uploaded to the repository: https://www.beamng.com/resources/ Once they're approved there, you can link them here.
What about submissions close to the deadline? If I submit on the 29th and say it doesn't get accepted until the 31st (so I wouldn't have the repo link to share on this thread before the 30th) would it still be eligible for the contest? Just curious since I'm not entirely sure how early I'll be finished - but I want make sure I submit with enough time for approval and eligibility. Thanks.
submission date needs to be before redline, when approving mods to the repo we can see the submission dates, don't worry
still a wip but here is mine a bluebuck on top of a roamer body and its surprisingly capable at offroad. Still need to fix the interior and jbeam and its good https://imgur.com/a/mvdgyAQ
Here's my entry with a Gambler 500 edition Automation Corvette C4 https://www.beamng.com/resources/corvette-c4-gambler-500-build.27069/
Here is the link to my mod for the Gambler 500 design contest! It's a mix between a sports car and a 4x4 !! (the interior camera can give a position error when changing the camera, I don't know how to fix it from the outside, just because of the adjustments you can make in the car through Beamng, where I can change the position from the camera) !! A little question, do you test the cars in the game? Hope you like it, have a great week! https://www.beamng.com/resources/voltic-laramie-4x4-ar-gambler.27077/
